Caveo Wealth

Your assets follow your plan.

Most wealth management firms start with the portfolio. Caveo Wealth starts with your financial plan. It determines how much liquidity you need, when capital will be due, and how much risk you can bear. Only then is the strategy developed.

Why coaching delivers more than it costs

The biggest difference rarely comes from the portfolio. It arises during a crisis.

CHF 300'000 invested in Swiss stocks at the end of 1985. Those who remained invested through all the crises had approximately CHF 5.95 million by the end of 2025. Those who exited after every year of heavy losses and waited a year had approximately CHF 4.23 million. That’s CHF 1.72 million less, with the same investments.

Model calculation using the annual returns on Swiss stocks from 1986 to 2025 based on Pictet, “Performance of Swiss Stocks and Bonds,” 2026. “Exited during crises”: Sold after one year with a loss of over 10% (1987, 1990, 2001, 2008, 2022), re-entered one year later, with no interest earned in the interim. In 2002, exiting the market prevented a further loss; in the other four cases, it missed the recovery. Annual average: 7.8% versus 6.8%. Excluding fees and taxes. A pure stock portfolio is not suitable for everyone. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

This is exactly where the support comes in.

Vanguard estimates the potential added value of good advice at up to 3% per year. Most of it comes down to behavior: don't sell during a crisis, because the plan shows that you won't need the money for years.

Caveo Wealth leverages all four areas. To put 3% per year into perspective: CHF 300'000 will grow to approximately CHF 446'000 in 20 years at a 2% return, and to approximately CHF 796'000 at a 5% return. That’s a difference of CHF 350'000. This is a simple compound interest calculation based on Vanguard’s upper limit—it is not a forecast or a promise.

The added value does not accrue evenly, but rather primarily in specific years, and depends on your individual situation. The studies were conducted in the United Kingdom and the United States. There is no guarantee of future returns.

With and without Caveo Wealth

Without Caveo Wealth

Bank or asset manager

You pay for the management of your assets. You either pay an additional fee for planning and guidance, or you choose not to have those services.

With Caveo Wealth

Administration and ongoing financial planning

You pay the same administrative fee. Your financial plan is updated on an ongoing basis, and every measure is implemented without hourly billing.

Costs

How much it costs. And what's included.

Caveo Wealth won't cost you any more than going directly to a wealth manager. Planning, implementation, and support are all included in one price.

When comparing options, be sure to consider the additional costs. With many low-cost providers, costs not prominently listed on any price list are added to the stated fee: currency conversion surcharges, transaction fees, and product costs. At Caveo Wealth, these are included in the price.

That takes care of everything. Caveo, asset management, account maintenance, transactions, currency exchange, and the product costs associated with the investments. The only items not included are statutory fees such as stamp duty and value-added tax.

With Caveo, you won't pay any more than you would without it. The same at Azemos, Everon and ZIAG. For investable assets of CHF 250'000 or more.

It's up to you to decide how to proceed.

To ensure this isn't just an empty phrase, there are four rules to follow.

The plan is billed separately

It's comprehensive, even if you invest your assets elsewhere. Each plan outlines both options: on your own or through your bank, or with Caveo Wealth.

No financial goals for financial planners

Our planners are evaluated based on the quality of their planning and your satisfaction, not on the amount of assets under management.

No extra charge with Caveo

Our 0.50% fee is included in the total costs. You pay the same amount as you would through a direct investment. Our fee is the same for all three asset managers and every strategy, so we have no reason to steer you toward a specific partner. We do not receive any rebates on investment products.

Support even without Caveo Wealth

If your assets are held at your bank, we will assist you for a fee that we will determine together in advance.

One conversation—and then you'll know where you stand.
